For big time match ups it sure is. For example go take a look at the lines for the Texans Chargers and Rams Vikings playoff games. Notice something? Or go back the previous playoffs to the two games with the 2.5 line. Browns were -2.5 vs the Texans. Lost. Bills were -2.5 vs the Chiefs. Lost.

It may not make sense, but it was listed on the board that way in Vegas a month ago.
It may very well mean nothing. I just find it interesting that they had SPECIFIC times for each game, and not the same time listed for all games like they usually do before the times are determined.

Underdogs of 3 or less points win about 47.5% of the time outright but that includes teams that are also underdogs by 1 and 2 points. If you ONLY look at 2.5 dogs, they do not win more than 50% of the time no matter how much it may seem that way to you.

Big time match ups with a lot of eyes on them. Pay attention. La Tech +2.5 vs San Houston State..yeah probably doesn’t really matter.
