I really never know what Pearson's approach at the plate is other than swing as hard as I can and hope I connect.
It's the Jared Jones method, but he doesn't have nearly the power or bat speed that Jones had.

At least Pearson can run into one put it in the bleachers. Reaves has warning track power. But that AB against a lefty for Pearson is not gonna earn him a lot of opportunities.
