If Milam doesn’t project as a good enough hitter in the pros, how does that make him a good ball player?

I don’t feel like that play was pure luck
Tennersee player just kept his eye on the ball and stayed focused all the way through the play. It wasn’t a particularly difficult catch. It’s just that he was still engaged.
