I hope Braun has the flu or something because it sure makes no sense to pinch hit for him..

According to Koki, Braun was standing on the top step and wasn’t being looked at by trainers. Maybe Jay was hoping Harden could recreate his last base hit which was only back on March 7th. You have to go back to the 3rd inning for Braun’s last hit.
