Do you actually watch Football? I was referencing their piss poor offensive performance against Dallas.

I just give an honest perspective. I know the rant struggles with calling like you see it posts.

Wow you are arguing a delta of 2. The 2013 team was a 11 L team and went goose egg in the CWS with Nola and Bregman. 2015 choked and 2017 a team that got hot but paul made a terrible decision with his pitching starter in Game 2 vs Florida. There is nothing dumb on what I am saying. you just don't like what I have to say. I am fine with that. I don't live in LSU fantasy land.

And LSU still doesn't know how to hit a cutter fastball. That has plagued LSU for years.

Give me a good reason after tonight’s display that LSU has a solid chance at being a 11-15 loss team. I’ll wait
Maybe they’ll lose 5 games. Maybe they’ll lose 25. Tonight’s game didn’t tell anything that we didn’t already know. Paul sucks with the bullpen and Mathis will never throw anyone out at second base unless the imo misses the call.

What's LSU's alma mater? Some boring-arse rehash played by 1,000 other high schools?

WTF are you talking about?

Anyone know what the rest of Texas pitching staff looks like? Even with a few lucky bounces going their way but those two tonight were very good.

This guy had like a 0.61 ERA coming into the game (lowered tonight with 0 ER in ~6 innings), the next guy's ERA so far is ~6.

I just don't get why LSU fans constantly apologize on the obvious when it comes to Mainieri.

Its the beginning of the year dude. But that year we loss our first game to BYU. It’s baseball! And comparing that team to this one just isn’t a good comparison. I mean come on now... I think this team will figure it out. I think we are very capable of losing just 15... AT THE MOST. But I’ll wait on your response.

I was not calling you an apologist. You took me out of context. I was referencing the same core of LSU fans that constantly apologize for Mainieri. These were some of the same TD members that apologized for Smoke fwiw.

It could be in the middle of conference play or the post season..The same issue continues to plague Mainieri. That issue has been consistent. My point is that lsu fans constantly apologize for Paul. Make the excuse of lack of depth...which I agreed last year. Lack of pitching depth some years. bats go silent. But the issue that constantly plagues Manieri has been his handling with pitching overall. If LSU fans refuse to acknowledge that, They just refuse to. It doesn't matter if its early, middle or late the season. That issue has always plagued CPM

Ok, so you go from comparing 2 totally different teams... to talking about the coach? Your argument is all over the place. First your talkin about us not being an 11 loss team. To CPM being inconsistent. Baseball is INCONSISTENT! Lmao

Everyone who went to the baseball series should have gone to the basketball game tomorrow instead.

Comparing but with respect to be relative to this season.

My argument has been consistent...Mainieri's handling and track record on pitching.

First your talkin about us not being an 11 loss team.

Based on what I saw tonight the problem that plagued Mainieri in prior season, plagued him again tonight with his starter and his handling of the bull pen. That was obvious. I just don't see LSU as a 11-17 L team this season. I hope I'm wrong.

To CPM being inconsistent.

I never said CPM and inconsistency. I said Mainieri's handling of pitching overall has been consistently bad. Its been a consistent problem. Doesn't take a genius to figure that out.

Every season, early in the year, CPM leaves his pitchers in to see how they react to fatigue, not having their best stuff and pitching out of jams. He especially does this with the young guys. If he took them out at the first sign of trouble then he would never know who to stick with later in the season. This has been a talking point for as long as I can remember.

But you don’t get it. Dude it’s baseball. If he takes Hess out early and puts Peterson in and we lose... guess what we have no Peterson tomorrow! And I’m using Peterson because he’s our best option in the bullpen. So you play it smart. If we would have taking the lead after the 6th are even tied. HELL YEA put Peterson in. But the way he handled the bullpen was absolutely perfect. We have 3 studs fresh to relieve some very decent starting pitching the next 2 games. So go ahead try again.
