Don't care how old the pitchers are or how inexperienced they are, they have to throw strikes. The plate is 17 inches wide at every level so there is no excuse for walking so many, If you get hit that is one thing, but not giving up walks. Mainieri left them in way too long when they weren't throwing strikes.
