JJ plays like he has more experience than 2 games.
JL isn't scared of a hit, and he has learned to make good decisions.
CS and KW are awesome as they split carries. As they should.
All of our playmakers get the touches they deserve. Even Randle and RS.
Our defense plays like the players actually know how to play the positions they are in. See Coleman and Brooks/Taylor/whoever.
Our fans actually travel well. And they are loud.
No BS. Bet the tigers to cover.

Won't be cold on the field for the players, even if it's raining. UW will not score more than twice.
Go Tigers!
Go Tigers!

I saw your prediction earlier. Wow!
Here are some things to consider:
1. UW had #14 recruit class in '08.
2. Locker is a pretty good QB.
3. UW O-line has dropped considerable weight from last yr.
4. New zone blocking scheme installed
5. New coaching staff, renewed enthusiasm for year.
6. First game, anything can happen.
7. Chavis is 0-2 his last 2 yrs in Pac-10 country. Losing to a UCLA team last year that was using their 3rd-string QB. Despite UCLA's 4 TO's, they still scored 24 points in regulation. UCLA was the 111th ranked offense last yr.
I would expect UW offense to have some success vs. our D.
But, our offense should have pretty good success vs. their D.
I'll send my prediction in next week.

55-7
All three of LSU quarterbacks play well.
All three of LSU quarterbacks play well.

here are the opening day points put up under les miles:

LSU 35
Arizona St. 31

LSU 45
Louisiana-Laf. 3

LSU 45-
0 miss st
quote:
LSU 41
App St. 13
that's an average of 41.5 points a game for 4 years straight.
and a average of 11.75 points a game given up.
which was really skewed because of the arizona st game and a prevent defense installed by bo pelini.
(2 out of the 4 games, only a field goal was put up)

I have it at 42-14 LSU
Washington has talent and I think will be able to put some points up. They do have the speed to make plays and LSU hasn't had a great showing against dual threat QBs, but the UW secondary is bad. REAL bad and though they have an outstanding LB unit, the depth of LSU will give UW fits, Te'o-Neshiem can't play every down.. and being able to cycle Scott and Williams and have fresh legs out there in the WR spots will be critical. Not sure about our ability to run in new OL w/out a large drop off in performance. Should be a fun game!
