LSU @ UW Prediction thread: Sat, Sep 5th (ESPN 9:30 central)

I think the first quarter will be competitive but that LSU will begin to pull away before halftime. Both teams have a lot to prove after disappointing seasons in 2008 and emotions will be running high on both sidelines when this one kicks off. I'm predicting Jefferson will toss three touchdown scores in what will be the beginning of a great sophomore season! I'm not exactly sure what we will see from the defense but I'm definitely expecting more aggression, intensity and significant improvement. Finally, I think we will see strong senior leadership which LSU obviously lacked in 2008.

Good analysis Stro. I'm mostly with you but I think the young offense makes some road mistakes and early jitters cost us some turnovers and points. Defense speed will overwhelm UDub.
