There is a huge problem with how we guard the 3. We either jump to block it or stand with our hands straight up and feet close together. Why not guard it by not giving any fricking space. Get in an athletic position and guard the damn ball. It is being taught these guys in a very weird way.

The most annoying part is a lot of those boards are just luck. There are a couple we should have grabbed, but these balls are bouncing back behind the three point line half the time.

The rebounding is way way way worse than the 3 point defense IMO. Instead of grabbing the ball, all LSU does is slaps it in the air.

I’m at a loss looking at the team stats most games and trying to figure out how we keep the rebounding margins so close. Following the game live you’d think we’d be down double digits in rebounding.

I don’t get it. Why do they choose to be lazy and pathetic on defense until the last couple of minutes of the game? This game could be out of reach by now with just a little bit of defensive intensity.
