I’m not going to predict which games exactly, just hoping they win the rest of the games at home that they should, maybe win 1 or 2 that they shouldn’t, & a couple on the road.

Hoping this doesn’t turn into a 2022 type season

I'm not saying you are wrong. Hopefully you aren't. Just curious as to which opponents you see as the 7 or 8 wins? It's unlikely LSU will be favored in any game the rest of the season except, maybe, South Carolina at home.

As of today, that is the only one they would be favored.

True, as of today, but they may be favored against Texas come February

For lsu to win any games or be competitive they have to keep oppenent off the offensive glass and stop turning the ball over.

Mizzou turns the other team over at the 6th highest rate in the country. Vandy is right ahead of them at 5th in the country and we saw how this team handled that at home.

They also attempt the 3rd most FT/game in the country.

The only way LSU competes tonight is if they take care of the ball, but you can say that about every game here on out

Yeah, if we end up with another 3:1 TO:AST ratio tonight, we're toast.

Thing is we kept our TOs down in the 2nd half...I wonder if we went small with chest at the 5 and bailey at the 4 how that would look. Collins gets pushed around on the block

I think if we had half the unforced turnovers we have had in the games we lost, we would be undefeated. Most (and maybe this is just me remembering the worst I saw) of the turnovers that cost us big were just really lazy passes or poor decisions rather than excellent execution by the other team.

Nice! Thanks dom.

UT @ UF should be a good one this evening. UT is getting 3 points.

Must Win. A loss will seal McMahon’s
Fate

Ofcourse, I will not stay up Late to night only to watch the inevitable gut wrenching loss. 0 confidence we win.

Can't say the same for me, I'll be watching.

However, I did bet $10 on Mizzou ML. So either we win and I'm happy, or we lose and I'm $4 richer.

Spread is +7 on DK.

That really aligns with the metrics imo, Mizzou should be -3 on a neutral court and should get another -4 being at home. So the -7 is a 50/50 to me.

The Vandy/LSU spread was the weird one. LSU should have been -2.5 or so for that game. We know the outcome now, but that seemed an outlier to me.

It’s hard to say it’s not a byproduct of McMahon’s half court offense. Far too often there is little movement away from the ball/confusion on where to go and guys with the ball just dribbling to spaces with no real plan, only to pick up their dribble with nowhere to go and nowhere to pass out of trouble.

The offense often looks like everyone is trying to figure out what to do on the fly rather than executing a cohesive structure. If the turnover issue was limited to just a few games or even just one season you could attribute it more to the players. But when it has been a huge issue for going on three seasons now with almost entirely new rosters every year you have to search for common denominators to find the root cause
