Last night I talked with a girl I know up there, we are gonna take a trip into Canada.......

We are going up Thurs - Tuesday . Not planning to do Canada though . Staying at the Arctic Club

Dad-our gang is going over to Victoria Sunday and Monday after the game. For a couple bucks more, we are taking a seaplane-picks us up at the dock in Seattle and lands in the harbor in Victoria. Give us a shout if you want-we have done a buttload of research on hotels.

That clipper moves pretty freakin fast.
I was out on the sound in a sailboat up there last summer and the clipper came roaring past us. Pretty impressive boat.

We're going Wed through Sun and we're thinking of going to Victoria one day but not sure yet.

I will be there as well. I would recommend the trip to Victoria. I lived on Mercer Island for a year and took the Victoria trip many times. It is a great trip although weather can be a problem. Provided the weather cooperates and you have the time, do it.
Also, take a day and head down to the wharf and do the touristy thing. Fish and chips, shopping, etc. Good wholesome fun for the family. On Sat, let the dogs loose and bring em hell.

A few years ago we went to Victoria by taking the boat from Port Angeles and it was only 45min. We thought about going back when we are in Seattle for the game but when I checked into it I was surprised to find out it's almost three hours one way by boat from Seattle @ $150 a head.
Victoria is awesome, and while most people think about the gardens there, it is also the capitol of BC and right in front of the docks is their huge Natural History Museums, alomost the equivelent of our Smithsonians.

If you're going to Canada, make damn sure you have a passport! You have to have one, both ways.
