Jeff, what kind of camera do you have?

I have a nikon d 5000 and used my friends 70-200 zoom lens. I was behind the band, so I had a bad angle to take shots.

Jeff,

Outstanding shots, man. You also proved that LSU has some hotties of their own cheering on the sideline.

I don't know that Jeff calls them that considering the relation and all

AWESOME PICS.

as opposed to some of the ranters going apoplectic today, i think LSU played well, and ran into a team that is going to be vastly improved over last year.

GEAUX TIGERS.

If it was the Nikon lens, then your friend is very trusting.

Post some pics taken with that lens. Supposed to be tack sharp on a "crop body" like yours.

Great pics. I have been waiting for someone to post.

Questions:

1) Did distance from field, with track around stadium, hamper view and "feel" of the game?

2) Did it get pretty loud? It sounded pretty loud on TV, but you never know if it's just because field mics are turned up.

3) Was the UW crowd cheering "Go" "Huskies" from side to side? It was kind of hard to make out on TV.

4) How was the food?

Lastly, I'm jealous I didn't make the trip too. Probably best LSU road venue ever.

He is a photographer and known him for more than 10 years. Looking to get my own, but want the 70-300. Will post pics later.

Yes, but only for the end zone folks (us).

Yes, it was very loud. The roof tops are huge and they appear to send the sound down to the field.

Yes.

Not bad, but not better.

Thanks Jeff, look forward to seeing your pictures throughout the season.

It's becoming a tradition for me to look for your pictures after the game.
