It's almost like they don't remember Kelly leaving Freeman a top 5 program and Kelly taking over a dumpster fire yet Kelly finished ranked above Freeman 2 of the last 3 seasons.

Marcus Freeman played for a national championship tonight, Brian Kelly didn't. Not sure what there is to discuss. BK very publicly said that he came to LSU for the opportunity to play for championships. How's that going for u Brian?

Kelly took over a lsu program having .500, losing seasons ,and didn't have a 2 deep roster on scholarship.
Freeman took over a top 5 program.
Getting to a national title game and winning one is a massive difference. Freeman isn't doing anything Kelly didnt achieve at ND. The fact that Kelly finished ranked ahead of ND in 2022 and 2023 should tell you who the better coach is.

Pretty much do or die this year for Kelly. I think even the biggest pumpers will lose faith if we dont win a playoff game or two.

He corrected deficiencies and is moving the ship forward. Go yell at the wall if it makes you feel better.

He took over a dumpster fire lsu program. What do you not understand about that? He took over less talent than Saban did in 2000. Saban at least had a 2 deep roster on scholarship when he arrived.
Saban lost 5 games in year 3 at lsu.
Dabo lost 7 games in year 3 at Clemson
Harbuagh lost 5 games in year 3 at Michigan
Smart lost 3 games in year 3 at uga
It's almost like rebuilding a program is hard... its a joke that you football ignorant "fans" don't understand that.

There are no excuses this year outside of Nuss going down early.
Year 1 and 2 were rebuilds ... year 3 we had to replace 97% of our Heisman winner led offense and replace both coordinators..... next year we have everything in place and with the addition of the portal and this incoming class.... there are no excuses anymore.
