Doesn’t sting for me. Like I said numerous times, I am a fan of both programs. It was a no lose situation for me. Good win for the Tigers.

Why should it be meant to offend anyone? But if we’re going to refer to schools by their full names, it should be ULL and LSU A&M. Also, I have a degree from LSU. Their full name does not offend me.

Despite what its says on the jerseys, it's still USL.

They proved it again last night in several, undeniable ways.

Actually, I have an undergraduate degree from ULL and a graduate degree from LSU. How many degrees do you have?

Once again, it has not been USL since 1999. Some of you guys’ reading comprehension is not good. Guess you didn’t go to LSU or ULL.

I graduated from USL in 1969. Great basketball program at that time-Coach Beryl Shipley. Players- Jerry Flake, Bob Hughes, Marvin Winkler, Elvin Ivory to name a few.

Perhaps you should re- read my post.
I don't think your reading comprehension is so good.
And, no, I did not attend USL.

Some real old timers still call it poly-technical institute and say "go Bull Dogs" when they get excited

No, I comprehended your post correctly the first time. Regardless of ULL’s performance or their actions after the game, they are still ULL.

And I didn’t attend USL either. It was ULL when I went there.

They had one of the best teams money could buy in those days - Shipley was on tv after the sanctions were announced and he said something like thie, "I know we didn't commit 250 violations - I know at least 3 of them are wrong"

It will always be USL, until they rightfully close down the University of La and Southern University and combine them into a realistic system based on future needs for the state.
