Other than slobber, what came out of his mouth that was so bad?

ETA: And the halftime pep talks, but they made him do that I'm sure.

IDK but if Notre Dame keeps on losing he will have a heart attack right on set next year.

ESPN needs to replace Lou, Mark "SC jock sniffer" May, and Corso, at least for starters.

What is your beef with Mark May? He's pretty straight forward and unbiased.

BTW, you realize someone has to provide a differing opinion on those shows. Otherwise it would be one guy saying, "Ohio has a strong team." and the other guys saying, "You're right.", "Oh a strong team for sure."

That's doesn't make for good TV or people talking about their program. When Lou Holtz makes a statement that ND will win 12 games this year, you and two dozen people will crucify him on the board and others. That's advertising you can't buy. (ie. Say something good about me, say something bad about me. Just say something about me.)

Lou's basically a gimmick. But, ESPN without Corso and Lou.....
it just doesn't feel right

I think every team he gave a pep-talk to lost that week. Plus he does ride the ND bandwagon a little to much.

He is until the discussion turns to SC. He's all over their jock. But I'll agree he's not the worst example.

As for Corso, I've wanted him gone since his comments about Dorsey at the NC game last season. Despicable.

The pep talk's were a gimmick. But otherwise that's him. He's just a dumb old man who lives in the past and needs to go away.

Who cares? They will probrably get him out of the old folks home in a couple of weeks to get him ready for the season.
