More than Les Miles is the laughing stock of CFB right now? I only read ESPN and CFN and those two sites were ripping into Miles so bad it was embarassing to read. The guy is terrible, and everyone knows it.
why in the world would you pay attention to what they say? they are so clueless and only care about usc and notre dame. you are completely forgetting that they are about MARKETING, not truth.

The guy doesn't even know when to call timeouts!
do you people honestly think that miles is the only coach who makes mistakes or isn't perfect with timeouts?

Why would Muschamp come here? He's got it made at UT.
I will NEVER understand the fascination with Gruden. Chucky is not the answer.
I just don't see anyone out there that is better and would be willing to head down here. Kelly or Peterson (Boise coach) would be intriguing.

Spurrier? Tubberville? Are you kidding?

My first choice is for Miles to stay, as I believe stability is underrated by most fans.

If, however, Miles chose to leave, Gary Patterson or Brian Kelley would be among my favorites. Charlie Strong could be good if we were to choose the assistant route.

I'm also not 100% convinced that Saban would be untouchable. I'm fairly sure he would stay at Bama, but no harm in a simple inquiry. While I hate him at Bama, I could learn to like him again. It would be worth it just for the reactions here in Alabama. I'd love to hear Bama fans claiming that Saban's winning with Miles' players.

that aint no lie....i woldnt take either of them or Gruden...That would def kill the program...

Peterson would be good, maybe kelly, ive said time and time again that Patterson at TCU would be awesome...defensive minded diciplinarian...Woo hoo!!...

I have lost a lot of confidence in miles (not all but most, not saying id want him fired but he doesnt seem to be elite by any means....but I wouldnt want to go through a coaching change either...unless he loses to old miss and Arky... I'm interested to see how the rest of the season goes and what he does with the O next year...But I do know this, if he gets the chance to go to Michigan again, he's gone...nobody turns down there dream job twice....theres nothing more he can do at LSU, he wont win it again with Bama and Fl running like a well oiled machine and Tenn on the rise..

That is THE only reason to have him back and it is a great one. The Gumps would go ballistic. All mental health professionals throughout the country would have to flock to Tuscaloosa.

I'd probably take the Michigan job if I were Miles. LSU fans have unrealistic expectations and can't get past the ghost of Saban. If you're going to deal with unrealistic fans, you might as well do it at your alma mater.

I wouldn't blame him one bit.

OP: "Lot of Talk out of Mich about RR"

This poster: Lots of Talk (Every Year) Out of Louisiana of LM

And this shite is every season, every loss, every off season, all the time. I'm not saying it's not possible RR gets shitcanned in December, I'm just trying to logically compare the situation to Les Miles, who is always getting shitted on in Louisiana. It may not mean jack shite.

I agree. Unfortunately, we have a lot of dumb, unappreciative fans that don't realize this. I wonder how many dumbasses will think we're going to get Saban back if Miles leaves

First off, I want Les Miles as coach of LSU next year.

However, if worse came to worse, I would want TCU coach Gary Patterson as the next LSU coach.

Saban coming back is a dream. Neither he nor LSU higher ups desire this.
Boise State coach won't get an interview. He's a scientoligist. I could care less, but you'd be surprised how religion is a factor in recruiting, and recruiting is essential to good coaching.
Anyone who wants Tubbervile is settling for mediocrity and forgets all the stupid stuff he has done. (In 1999, handing out cigars in TS.)
