This thread was for all the kool aid drinkers who think we are playing Sam Houston lol not that I'm pulling for bama cause I'm not...I love lsu football...
Ill make a correction...bama has the best "young" defense and will be the best def ever...as far as team speed on defense ..fastest ever in history....ask bama...
Like I said , many of the kool aid drinkers on here are replying in this thread with their idiocracy..stay humble, hope for some breaks and just maybe we won't have 3 losses after the bama game
...note...we were a 1 loss team last yr after bama game for all those who say we are better this yr...

There has not been one single person saying bama is a mid major, or that bama isn't a good, possibly very good team. Most on here recognize LSU has better coaching now, and potentially 10 players that will be drafted in the up coming draft. YOU are the one that is acting like an idiot and posting garbage. LSU stands a real chance to win this game, and won't have to play perfect. So, stfu dude.

Because nobody here gives a shite about your stance on respect of the opponent in regards to recent history, I can tell you that. What happens Saturday night is going to happen. But with all due respect, go frick yourself. We're all gonna have fun in the buildup and will deal with the results later. The whole thing is meant to be entertainment anyway, is it not? How fun is it to be so god damn stoic and calculated?

However: Do not those national averages both you and I reference include the crap D's those other teams played?
Those rankings aren't just for tough games. It's for cupcakes and all for them.
ALSO... does not the complete 2015 or 2016 rankings also reflect some crap defenses? MSST has shown to be pretty shitty. An FCS team. But yet... there's significant improvement against, by your way of thinking, "other" crap defenses.
Only team we've played with a good or better D is Wisky. So let's account for the passing game being bad under Miles and being 'better', since you won't accept 'good' under CEO.
ETA: and don't change what I'm saying into 'we will win definitely' or 'best passing team ever' with extrapolations. I'm just saying your rankings of the passing game under Etling are incorrect. Based off what? 3-0 and offensive records set against three of the worst run defenses in college football whose teams have a combined record of 8-15? I was at the When Pigs Fly game. Curly was our coach. Alabama had the longest winning streak in the country, defending champs.

Homers have zero sense of reality. Does LSU have a shot. Yes they do. They have to make zero mistakes and hope that Bama does make a couple. This will be by far the best the am LSU has played but they do have the athletes to compete, however a complete game by Etling will be vital.

I know I'm late to the party, but this isn't even close to the best Bama defense ever. Their 2011 defense blows them out of the water.

I dont like agreeing with Groupee on anything but in this case...he's right. People are saying that bama hasnt played anybody but really...neither have we. Missouri and Old Piss are proving to be a lot shittier than we thought and S Miss is no where near our level.
I'm holding my breath in this one. I dont believe they will roll us in our own stadium but the Bama mystique and the refs are gonna be a tall order to defeat.
