Glad my boys got a result today, but LSU is too talented to count out after one loss.

See y'all again tomorrow.

The tigers are done. Alex Lange could not win tonight. This team has over achieved.

There's no one that hates LSU as much as LSU fans.

Poche hopefully conitnues pitching with confidence tomorrow and puts the pressure on the Chandeliers come Monday.

Power pitchers vs. power hitting teams can get knocked around good sometimes.

I agree, it isn't over and even though we lost, that closer, aka the best in the world ever according to the announcers, is done. He hit his PC for the weekend so now they don't have a closer or much of a bullpen

Their closer threw as many pitches as Lange did...

And he is done for the next two games. That's a huge hit to their bullpen

If he does pitch it won't be for more than an inning going forward. Need to really work the counts on their starters. Everyone got a look at him tonight. We actually hit him well tonight but put ourselves in too big a hole.

Everyone got a look at him tonight. We actually played him well. We've faced much better in the SEC.

Depends on what you would call a "lot". Nine innings is a lot in some circumstances, I guess.

The fact that he let his best reliever throw 60 pitches in a game they were leading by 4-6 runs the whole time he was in and he came into the 9th with a six run lead tells me the coach doesn't have a lot of faith with the rest of his guys in the bullpen.
