The match up yesterday against UGA was extremely tough. your playing a team that is fighting to stay in the title hunt at there place. do you understand how difficult that is? they weren't going to be denied that day.
I honestly think the defense will get better. when you play like they did yesterday the next week of practice is going to be rough and i believe that Chavis can get some of these things fixed.
now im not saying that this defense is going to play lights out but i think that they will play better the rest of the way out.
also we have 2 weeks to prepare for bama AND Johnny football.

I love how everyone ignored all the work I put into my posts. I guess being labeled a troll and being an Alabama fan automatically discredits my opinions regardless of validity. I'm sure I share the same thoughts as many LSU fans here, but those haven't spoken up or said anything about my posts.
I'm not here to cause trouble, but the mixed reactions or downright disregard by the LSU fans here is disappointing. Why can't we be friends? I know there are good LSU posters here, but no one here seems to appreciate my efforts and compliments. They only see the negative.
Oh well. I will continue to post here. It's just the internet. I'm here to have a good time and discuss the game, and I know someone will appreciate what I've got to say. When I see that my efforts are meaningless, then I will abandon this board and spend my time somewhere else where people can respect what I say and acknowledge my presence. There's no need to hate or to maintain grudges against people on an anonymous forum.

The "positigers" are literally the worst type of LSU fan. They make excuses for everything and then celebrate ridiculous shite like "don't worry we are running the table" and "no worries, guys. We could afford to lose the game!" or "we gonna destroy Bama and A&M"
Their "aw-shucks, knee slapping, Miles is a genius" attitude is truly more annoying than the "sky is falling" sentiment of the other half of the fan base.
Just call an Ace an Ace and a Spade a Spade.
I prefer "Sunshine Pumping, Buttock Smooching, Pom Pom Waving, Cheerleading, LSU Coach-Athlete-Administrator Worshipping, Head buried in the Sand, See-Hear-Speak No Evil, Mediocrity Accepting" Excuse Makers.
That moniker certainly fits a lot better than simple "Posi-Tiger."

Hey bro. Your posts are nice, and clean, and reasonable, and informative.
But the rant is in meltdown. Consider us ignoring you the better of any other possible reaction.

But they basically played the exact same game that we did, except against a lesser opponent in aTm
If you think that the Bama A&M game played out anything like LSU and UGA then you obviously didn't watch one of those games very closely. The final score may have been similar but at no point late in the Bama Aggie contest was the outcome in doubt. The TD with a few seconds left made the score close but A&M played from 2 scores down the entire second half and never did it feel as though A&M would win.
LSU and Georgia was truely a "last team with the ball wins" type of game and the Aggie vs Bama game became a foregone conclusion before the 4th quarter started.

I watched it. aTm moved the ball easily against Bama. Georgia is a better team imo.
I was more concerned about this Georgia game than both the Bama or aTm games.
I'm not saying there are no problems, but it's far from time to jump ship.

Ok, I agree that atm moved the ball easily against the bama D but from a competitive standpoint I still think that the games were night and day. Bama seemed to establish they were the better team early on in the game and any reasonable (if any of us fans could be considered that) fan of LSU / UGA would say that Saturday's game was a "last team with the ball wins" type of game from start to finish.

o be fair, I don't think anybody expected our defense to be as inept as they were yesterday. People are worried about them going forward. If they improve, we could very well win out. If they don't, we very easily could lose 3 more. Yesterday showed nothing promising that they're going to get better.
It's disappointing, before the year I thought we were a 2-3 loss team. But I thought that without knowing how great our offense was going to be. After seeing the offense, my expectations went up because the D seemed good enough to at least slow teams down. Now that's in question so the emotional roller coaster takes a downward turn and 3 losses seems to be a real possibility again.
Worried about Bama
Worried about a game with A&M that will be very similar to yesterday
Worried about whether the D can stop ole miss
Slightly worried about Florida

That's fine. But it doesn't change the fact that bama's D looked bad.

I'm not only concerned about Bama, with the lack of D that we saw last Sat,I'm concerned about the rest of our SEC schedule, without more defensive output we are going to struggle big time the rest of the season, sure or offense can put 40 points up,but if the opponent puts more than 40,then what does it matter? The D is going to have to step up,just being realistic.

You are a fricking dumbass. Reading some of the shite you have posted after the loss is embarrassingly stupid. I guess when you are that stupid you just don't care anymore.

I was there. I saw almost every receiver open on almost every play. I saw our O line controlled on the line. I saw our D line have no effect. I never thought it before, but we could easily lose 3-4.
Sorry.
Sorry.
