You are living in lala land if you are not concerned over:

A&M destroying our defense worse than UGa

Bamas defense shutting us down better than UGa did

Floridas defense controlling the tempo of the game

Ole Miss' offense doing what UGa did

And Arky catching us unmotivated after 3 or 4 more losses

And what if UGa loses to Fla, they wont be a Top 10 team that we lost to. Its not overreacting thinking we could be a 4 loss team going into bowl season

Name anyone left on out schedule your concerned about besides at Bama?

TAMU, obviously

Ole Miss could give us hell unless our D improves a lot

any team with a solid offense is a threat to create a shootout at this point

well 2 other top 10 teams are in our own division. also its not the loss that is the problem it is how we lost. our d couldn't stop a pack of blind kids from finding the holes in our coverage and scoring touchdowns on us

Man this board was wanting to fire Miles when he was 13-0 in '2012, BEFORE we lost the BCSNC game. Of course you are the only one not in meltdown.

Fans of other fanbases from all over are lurking this site right now just for the meltdown.

that's not true

but logical/realistic fans knew that team was flawed and were scared of bama. 1/9/12 validated that concern

All of those things could happen. Or they could not.
You might do yourself some good by not stressing about it till it actually plays out. I have been watching LSU a long time and have seen them look like crap one week and world beaters the next.

Playing out negative hypothetical situations will do you no good. It certainly won't help the team or change anything...... And there's nothing you can do about it anyway

You might as well be positive and feel better about things

I bleed Purple & Gold as much as anyone...but you have to face the reality that our D is going to have trouble against A&M & Bama. Not that Bama is an Offensive juggernaut, but we are going to have to put up big offensive numbers to beat them.

We've watched them lose to Bama, Florida, Clemson, and now UGa for 3 years, in the same manner

They are not world beaters anymore

any team with a pulse on o is a concern. if they can throw its a bigger concern. We got gashed by uab and auburn. they both also missed tons of open wrs so our dbs got burned and it never ever got corrected.

yeah this game wasn't an outlier game. that's the thing. our D has been shaky every game this year

No.

With the defensive talent we lost to the NFL, plus our schedule, we were a 3 loss team before the season even started. This was one of those losses. That's why I'm not taking it so hard this morning.

Nope. I thought we were a 3 loss team before the season started.

Dude we let auburn score 20 points. Bama will probably shut them out!

No. We were waiting to see how our defense stood up to an actual test and they failed miserably. You can extrapolate that to the other top teams we face and we can easily have 3-4 losses.

pretty much

UGA showed the fans what this team was

the fans positigered the issues we saw the first 4 games, but now those fears are a reality. we are who we are

I also think LSU has the potential to embarrass Bama this year.

How has that worked out for either team in the past? Aside from 1/9/12, all games have been close.

Prior to this season, Alabama and LSU were living off strong running games and defense.
LSU no longer has a strong defense, and you couldn't run on Georgia.
LSU's defense has made serious mistakes in every game this season. Alabama has only had one bad game, but those results are overblown. Alabama ran off 35 unanswered points after being down 14-0 and never looked back. Alabama's best cornerback was injured, an no one else could cover Evans, but in the end, it never mattered.
Versus Georgia yesterday, the game was in question from start to finish. Neither team could acquire or maintain a comfortable lead.

The "positigers" are literally the worst type of LSU fan. They make excuses for everything and then celebrate ridiculous shite like "don't worry we are running the table" and "no worries, guys. We could afford to lose the game!" or "we gonna destroy Bama and A&M"

Their "aw-shucks, knee slapping, Miles is a genius" attitude is truly more annoying than the "sky is falling" sentiment of the other half of the fan base.

Most people felt this was at least a 2 loss team.

Losing to UGA didn't lower expectations. The LSU defense lowered expectations.
