Yay or Nay???

I have a room booked but can cancel it within 24 hours.

How is the neighborhood there? Safe for my family to walk around?

TIA!

In the West Hollywood area.... Typical L.A. Freak show area. Sunset is stereotypical L.A. Not to bad of an area.

Thanks! Is there another Hyatt Regency close to UCLA?

can't really remember the hotel, but that area is pretty fun. You've got the Saddle Ranch across the street (hit it up Sunday for Brunch if you can) and House of Blues

Very fun nightlife and pretty clean during the day.

Have you seen the picture of their shitty stadium. Check out the SEC rant. Where are our fans making the trip going to sit?

That's my biggest worry. I'm on the list for tickets via the LSU ticket office and will know by Tuesday evening if I make the cut to get tickets.

Nice hotel but more in an adult area. Look over in Westwood or even Santa Monica if you are bringing the kids. Santa Monica would be great as it is not far from the stadium with lots of restaurants.

If just you and the Mrs., then the Hyatt Andaz is fun.

Here's a link for Santa Monica - LINK

Thanks!

I've got frequent guest points at any Hyatt property where I can stay free. Are there any Hyatt Suites located near the UCLA baseball venue. The Hyatt website shows numerous properties listed but I'm not familiar enough with the area to know what's where.

Thanks again!

LSURUSSIAN; you might want to check out Hyatt Regency Century City. I've stayed there and found it nice. I think it's closer to stadium and maybe better area for the kids.

Thanks! That hotel was my first choice but it is 100% booked. I'll try again Tuesday morning to see if they've had any cancellations.

I've stayed at the Westin in Century City. It's been a while, but it was very nice.
