right so you agree using 1 year compared to 11 is dumb. even more so when that 11 was the most dominant era of sec football ever(3 sec national champs that lsu plays every year)

Right, but O's failures in September are what lowered the expectations around here. You can't say "well, no one thought we'd win 6 SEC game sin October," when many were expecting that going into the year. You're giving O credit for expectations that his failures lowered.

yes i disagree with using 1 year winning % and judging it against 11 years worth of winning. its infinitely harder to have an 11 year tenure with a winning % of 77 than having 1 year of 77%. do you know how i know that?

And where did you think we’d be last season after a 2-2 start? You don’t give O credit for exceeding expectations that Miles lowered. Again your biased agenda is front and center in every post.

I said we don't look like a team that has a guaranteed W left on the schedule. And that was a perfectly rational stance.

Not sure what you're talking about. The expectation is to compete for championships. I thought that for Miles, and I think it for O.

its been funny watching the many lsu posters say, "anyone that actually thought this team was gonna challenge for a playoff spot is an idiot and doesnt understand football!"

Where is the double standard? I expect the same from both. Are you even trying to make points?

Lol you did i remember and i said 8/9. You won’t be right unless we win on New Year’s Day though Rick. And what were your motivations behind that 10 win prediction? Lol

You’re deflecting you said the expectations changed during the season in a negative way not before. But you won’t give credit for the exact opposite happening the year before. That’s a double standard.

2016 Miles by your definition lowered the standards of that season by going 2-2, O turned the season around you give him no credit. This season we started 3-2 lowered expectations, Os fault so he gets no credit for turning the season around. If the second example is true so is the first but you don’t give credit for the 2016 season and that’s a double standard.

I didn't once say that.

quote:

O turned the season around you give him no credit.

Says who? Got a link? Of course you don't. But the loss to a depleted UF and shutout by Bama where red flags.

quote:

his season we started 3-2 lowered expectations, Os fault so he gets no credit for turning the season around.

Using your logic, he turned it around twice. We started out in the right direction, did a 180 straight to the shitter, then beat some mostly bad teams.
quote:

If the second example is true so is the first bit you don’t give credit for the 2016 season and that’s a double standard.

Like I said, UDUM.

I was joking about the motivation comment. Yea i think we’ll beat ND I’ve watched them a few times and they’re not impressive. I think their strength is offense but Aranda will lock them up and our offense will score enough to win the game.
