Then not giving any credit to him turning it around a going on a run with no bye weeks all the way to the SEC Championship game.

you are one of those who said you hated the man because he lost a home game right after two major hurricanes hit the state.

YOU want what Saban is doing At Bama....Right????
Well, we were told once Miles got out the way, LSU would be better than Bama. He was just holding us back.
I'm excited for when this is going to happen because everyone said anyone could win at LSU.

You have pointed to that game on multiple occasions for why you hated him as a coach.
This isn't a call out, you and I used to discuss this stuff regularly.

I have seen posters claim certain facts over the years and one being CLM record vs ranked opponents. I just checked LSU sports.net and his record is 42-23. He didn't lose wins for teams that fell out of the top 25.
Are you sure about this? I honestly don't know. Either way, I think that's a dumb way to assess the overall quality of the results of a season. When I'm looking back on a season in December or January, I don't really care, for example, if a team we played in September was ranked #10 at the time if they end up losing 5-6 games.

O was a horrible hire but they are trying every way imaginable to justify that he is a better coach than the previous one because they irrationally hated him so much

Yeah but even though Canada's offense scored less than Miles' offense, they moved around on the line of scrimmage. AMAZING
That's really a what the frick is happening statement considering we played a much weaker schedule this season and had better QB play than what we had in 2015. Why is O paying a OC like 1.5 million to score less points than a coach we fired was scoring?
Anyone not concerned by what we have seen with LSU football lately is blind or agenda driven to move the goal post.

So MIles DID run the offense..... OK................

I don't think I've ever said I hated him. I hated some of the things he did and the fact he wouldn't adapt offensively.

yes, sadly i went through each season and tallied the w/l vs every opponent and they matched up to his total. I started to see how many teams fell out but after seeing a few teams fall out realized i would have to check to see if teams that weren't ranked became ranked...f that

I am not disagreeing with you

while I don't either sometimes those teams are that good but a game or 2 may have sent their team in a tale spin. FSU for example would likely have been a top 10 team, at least on paper, had bama not knocked out their QB for the year. Look at Clemsons slip up...lost QB for a half and lost.

How many teams played 3 BCS bowl winning teams, let alone beat all of them? Not to mention highly rated Arkansas and UGA at the end of the year. That schedule was legit, and had LSU won the last game, it would have been on the very short list for greatest season in the history of college football.
You guys let your hatred of Miles cause yall to say some really stupid shite

Ok.
Instead of going 7-0 against ranked teams at the time we played them, we went 4-0 against teams ranked at the end of the year, three of which ended the year in the top 5, two of which won the Big East and the Pac 12, and one of which was picked to play in the National Championship Game.
How many teams ever play more than 4 or 5 teams that are ranked at the end of a season?
Does it really lower your view of that season because low ranked teams like MSU, Florida, and Auburn fell out of the rankings?
That team has the reputation it does because of the Oregon, WV, Bama, and Ark wins.
I can see why you have the reputation that you do on this board.

“You guys let your hatred of Miles cause yal to say some really stupid shite.” Lmfao oh the irony. What’s even more funny is using what if’s to prop up and already overrated schedule. Not that it wasn’t a very tough non conf schedule but best alltime is flat out insane when that schedule wasn’t even the toughest in the country that year and not nearly the toughest schedule LSU has ever played or toughest we’ve played in the last 10 years.
