I hear ya but I don't usually factor in postseason stuff when reviewing a year for my own purposes. The schedule going into the season is all a team can prepare for. Potentially penalizing a team for having to play an extra tough opponent, potentially in a rematch, doesn't seem right when trying to evaluate how a team met expectations or potential.
It's why I still consider the Auburn win a great one this year.
For me, postseason performance factors in over longer periods of time to judge how a coach's approach prepares his teams for those situations.
But in a one year window, there are too many variables imo to let that skew the evaluation of that team one way or the other
ETA: It's why I won't freak out if LSU loses to an average ND team this year. If we lost a few bowl games in a row and looked unprepared doing it, it might be a flag that the approach is off.
Also, a win against ND, particularly an impressive one, combined with last year's impressive shutdown of Jackson and Louisville would make me feel pretty good about O's bowl game approach.
If we ever ended up in a playoff matchup scenario, that would bode well for our chances.
Have to get there first though, hence focusing on the regular season results.

When you use phrases like best alltime to describe something that wasn’t even top 5 in the year it happened that’s overrating something. It doesn’t mean it wasn’t a very tough schedule it mean you’re overrating it. Maybe you’re too stupid to understand that.

There were five top 5 teams at season's end. We were one of them.
We beat 3 of the other 4, and only 1 game was at home.
That schedule was insane, and our results against that schedule were even crazier.
We might never see anything like that again.

First off i don’t up or downvote anything, unlike you i don’t believe they actually cause physical harm and if i disagree with something i post my argument i don’t leave a check mark that nobody can trace like a coward. Last week Rick used it to lost our seasons ppg avg and it had us scoring 26.1 ppg, that’s 2 ppg off of reality. Wow you’re pathetic.

Why are you deflecting and changing the subject? You’re wrong about the 2011 schedule strength, did you know the avg win for our SEC opponents that season was 2 even though we faced Arky and Bama who were BCS teams? Do you ever devalue those wins the way you do wins from this season? No you don’t because you’re about as objective as a terrorist.
