No they weren’t ranked, they ended up with a nice season but they weren’t ranked when we played them.

Etling was hurt with a back injury and if i remember correctly didn’t even make the trip to Green Bay. So while i think he starts Harris anyway there wasn’t an option to go with Etling game 1. What’s funny is after the spring game Miles said Harris was the best QB in the country lol.

Let me clairify because you know how it is, you can flat out makeup rumors about O and it’s ok but if you make a mistake about Miles you’re crucified. He said there wasn’t a better QB not that he was the best.

O has some negatives....

First off that post you quoted me on wasn’t my post and the statement you made answering it doesn’t make a lick of sense. Secondly i don’t makeup how “record vs ranked teams is measured” that’s how it goes and it goes that way because win or lose their ranking is directly effected by what happens in the game you face them. You’re calling me agenda driven when it’s you trying to re-define and alter the way recites are kept. Maybe because it’s the holidays you’re on vacation and not currently in reality and when you get home you’ll make more sense.

i still believe we lost to wisky because Miles and Cam tried to get Harris involved early on and he couldn't hit the broad side of the barn.
i think we wasted the 1st 3 possessions on pass plays that are meant to get a qb in rythym.

I didn’t gripe about 2014 i knew we’d be bad and we lost 5 games. I didn’t even complain about 2015 because i knew Steele sucked and all of the problems some of my friends saw we had ended up being true and i realized i overrated Harris and the team as a whole. I did bitch about 2013 because that was on him. I’ve also said many times that each season should have expectations specific to that team and season not the blanket expectations you guys love to talk about.

You can’t blame Miles and Cam for Wisky, there’s literally nobody who could’ve seen Harris regressing that much. Not even his overall poor play but totally failing to protect the ball is on the QB.

WHOA... Rick you have stated on many occasions that the polls do NOT consider wins during the season against WHERE teams finish... But where they are at the time of the win...........
