Nope not even close. He played the hand he was dealt. If Miles had a weak schedule.....well that just the way it unfolded.....O has a weak schedule...he obviously planned it that way...all his fault.

Sorry dude but as nice A change it was last year... Interm doesn't count with me... He Had ZERO pressure on him and YES he did a decent job he wasn't running the whole show... The LSU offense looked way better after the change but he still lost to the two best D;s they played after the change... The Louisville game was A quality win.. And since he was named THE HC the best thing he really has done is keeping the team from tanking after the Troy loss...
OH THAT LOSS......................... That's what this thread is all about...
NO WAY LSU losses to Troy... EVER..........

I’ve even been on many threads with you saying that no while you can raise an argument that Sabans players led that 07 team you can’t credit it to Saban and give none ti Miles. Ok but one season is just such a small sample size 20 games is a nice round number. If you’d rather a small and extremely fair way to compare them, last season Miles went 2-2 with the same exact roster and all but 1 of the same staff O went 6-2 with. That’s about as equal a comparison as you can have.

You really think Miles would have done worse than 6-2 the rest of the season????? He did NOT get fired because he lost to AU and Wisky... He got fired because he lied and said he would change the offense and didn't......... He could have beaten the same teams that O beat..it would not have looked as pretty and records may not have ben set but he still had A great chance to do the same as O did AS AN INTERM..............

where was you happiness with the 2015 season?
im the only one staying consistent.
ive repeatedly said if we win our bowl game it will be a decent season. that in no way means everything bad is erased from this season.
but youll just dismiss that ive actually said that about this season.

Ok but now you’re using selective criteria which is in itself bias. You don’t count his record in 2016 but history does, that’s opinion vs fact. Last years recird goes on his resume like it or not but even if you want to erase the things you deem not satisfactory ok. Miles last season we started off #5 he went 2-2 not facing a single ranked team add that to his last full season where he also ended up lower than where he started and you get 11-5 68.5%. Ogeron is 9-3 not having finished his first year yet thats 75% that’s still improvement. Like i keep saying I’m not sold on him and he’s done things that really scare me but if we are gonna judge it objectively we have to look at facts and we can’t use subjective context t erase those facts.

What are you talking about? You and i had a conversation on this board about how in 2015 i though that we finally had a chance to beat Bama. I said that even though Harris hadn’t been super efficient and hadn’t had a lot of attempts that the Florida game convinced me that he had dangerous outside the pocket playmaking ability and i thought he could make the difference if he played that way. Stop using these phony hindsight takes, either you’re thinking of someone els or just grasping at straws.

I agree with you there but i think the losses made the difference. Yea they were pissed that he lied to the admin but if he would’ve gone unbeaten or lost only to Bama he wouldn’t have been fired. We contacted Herman the Monday after Wisky so by Auburn he was basically dead in the water just waiting for the other shoe to drop.
