Starting pitching coming around and Fontenot as closer main reasons.

everyone with a clue knew that you cant judge LSU baseball in March, that it really matters in April.

Now if we keep winning throughout April/May, I'll get my hopes up. but theres still a lot of questions as of tonight.

If we can get Marceaux and Hill back. Excited to see what Storz can bring as well. We really can be the deepest staff.

Starter potential
Hess
Henry
Hill
Walker
Marceaux

Relief
Beck
Peterson
Vietmiere
George
Hilliard could also start
Storz

Closer
Fontenot

Like every other season.

It’s like people have never watched this team before.

I think most people had higher expectations of the offense but pitching even without the depth has been good. I still think it can be a special team if they put it together and have good luck with health issues.

Pitching is improved but we need arms to get healthy and offense still has work to do. Way too many strikeouts

And when we get Cabrera back, we’ll get his bat back, and we can move Gio to the DH so we don’t have to worry about that nonsense with Garza and Bianco. We just gotta get healthy

This team is only going to get better as they get more guys back from injury. Being 6th in RPI at this point is beautiful.

I very well see us winning it all this year. Just booked rooms in Omaha. That's how confident I am.

If everyone can get healthy this team will be insanely good. Pretty incredible what they have done so far giving our injuury situation. Cole Henry and Chris Reid have been a nice surprise

His velo is finally back up to his pre-injury level. That makes his nasty Uncle Charlie curve more effective.

No. A lot of those downvotes are because of the term "baws", which people are sick of.
Other downvotes are from people who never lost faith and felt that LSU never went away and was always "around".

Several knee-jerk reaction fans just don't understand baseball.

I think Hilliard’s biggest issue right now is accuracy. I do believe he will start getting better in that area as he gets PT and gains his confidence back.
