Maybe the defensive line coach shouldn't have hired a septuagenarian last season to coach the unit.

Horrible staff choice by him, right?

What were we the year before?

What about inseason WR development?

Do Jugs Machines not work in fall?

And if EVERY school does this isn’t someone who does this gonna finish last in drops?

LSU - Dead last in the SEC in drops in '18

When somebody provides you a list showing LSU was middle of the pack in drops you say it's not a credible list. Then you say that these stats are only kept by teams, and NEVER leave the WR rooms.

When you see a list showing LSU leading the nation in drops, you totally change your tune. You use this list to support your argument.

That's not the way this works.

Oh yeah. Herman was fired. If he hadn't immediately shaped up, he was history.

Did you even listen to the podcast? Meyer was furious.
I did listen.

The cool story was from December 2012. Herman worked for Meyer continuously through the 2012-2014 seasons. He. Was. Not. Fired.

Oh wait, he gets fired/hired weekly like Moffit!

Yes. Herman was fired. You can tell by the part where Urban Meyer says, "You're fired!" with the veins popping out of his neck, then maybe punches the wall.

And, yeah, Meyer reversed it in probably a matter of minutes. But at that point in time his arse was fired.

Meyer was just as adamant about the Jugs machine at Florida and Utah. Maybe that's one reason he had 3 Natty's and the highest W/L percentage of active Div 1 HC's. Not saying the only reason. But definitely one of them.
