What's your take?
My take is that Moffitt is a Class-A S&C coach who hasn't dealt with the needs of WR's (effectively) in a true true passing scheme in his long career.

And, that O needs to bring in a HOF level WR consultant (player, not guru) to redesign WR workouts, in-season and off-season. If Moffitt goes along with it, then everything's good. If not, he should be replaced ASAP.

Sorry, but most drops in the SEC & near-bottom of all Power-5 teams isn't just bad, it is horrific.

What about O praising Moffitt? Is he wrong? He's wrong to praise the S&C coaches services?

I mentioned nothing about that. I was referring to O giving Moffitt props. If O praises Moffitt, why is that not good enough for you?

Do you somehow imagine that what you may or may not mention has any bearing on what I choose to say?

^^ This^^ is the problem. Happy talk for the media is just noise in comparison.

Not at all. I just find it strange that you completely skip over O giving props to the one person at LSU that you seem to have some weird issue with.

I just gave you a quote from O himself but like always you try to turn it into some other subject.

So based on your posting history, you hate Moffitt, you adore O, O adores Moffitt, you're asked about that, you skip over it an try to bring up another subject to keep the confrontation going. Par for the course.

It's all you do.

You're not worth the time.

The issue is not who likes Moffitt. From what I hear, he's well-liked.

But WR's make their biggest skills improvements in the offseason if they have adequate training regimens. Whatever Moffitt has been doing with the WRs in the offseason is not working.

You don’t know any of this. You’re making wild assumptions based on your weird obsession with jug machines.

Why does the jugs need a reservation? How much space does somebody need to catch passes from the machine?

Thanks for posting stats from CFB - the amateur do-it-yourself fanboy site (are you actually that gullible?)

Here are stats from CBS Sports (CBS - they actually have a professional relationship with the SEC)

From:
Tom Fornelli
CBS Sports Analyst

Highest Drop Rate by Power 5 Schools in 2018
1. Maryland 14.6%
2. Illinois 13.2%
3. Boston College 12.7%
4. Penn State 12.6%
5. Duke 12.5%
6. Rutgers 12.3%
7. Baylor 12.1%
8. LSU 10.9%
9. Louisville 10.1%
10. Michigan State 9.8%

So, 8th worst Drop Rate out of 65 Power-5 Schools - pathetic

Moffitt's job is not skill development, it's strength and conditioning. You know, his job title.

You do realize that both assessments show results within 0.6% of each other, right?

S&O coaches at elite passing programs make a Jugs machines area easily available to WRs throughout the offseason.

The offseason is prime time for WRs to improve their catching skills. Any S&C coach who doesn't do this is hurting his team.

So CFB ALMOST got one right out of the entire SEC? But please knight away for that schlock site.

Orgeron as head coach needs to take responsibility for these bad drop stats.

Thanks for pointing these out and how he’s neglected his duty to make the receivers better

Mr know-it-all makes his presence known again.

You've been here for 14 months and you act like you've been following this program for 40 years.

You should shoot o a resume since you think you're God's gift to football coaching.

Why is this only an off-season programs? Jugs Machines done work in the fall?

Also, it’s seems like they’re using them.

Joe Brady, our WR coach, seems like a better source than whoever you are talking to.

Dead last in drops in the SEC works for you?

Moffitt is not all of the problem, but he is definitely a big part of the problem. He is decades behind the time in WR offseason requirements.
