Looking at the 2017 Schedule, a 9-3 season seems realistic

Could also go 11-1 or 8-4

Possible losses in order of most likely:

Alabama
Florida
Auburn
Arkansas

Tennessee or Ole Miss could also cause trouble.

This would be my expectations regardless of the coaching hire.

Anything less than 10 wins is unacceptable

Is 8-4 an acceptable record here, now?

Not flaming - serious question.

Considering 4 games are rent a wins and 2 sec teams on the schedule are usually garbage, 3-3 with the meat of the schedule is ok with the masses

Why is our schedule so backloaded?

If our offense lights up the score board with an OC that knows how to, then 11-1 can and should happen.

LSU will be better than all the teams we drummed this year.
Ark, ole miss, state and am.

It'll come down to Alabama game again.

BYU - W
Chattanooga - W
Miss St - W
Syracuse - W
Troy - W
Florida - Toss up.. they lose entire defense, return entire offense
Auburn - Toss up.. they lose about as much as LSU
Ole Miss - W, they are a dumpster fire
Alabama - Toss up.. probably a loss because it's Bama. Their offense will be humming. Defense takes a huge step back.
Arkansas - W
Tennessee - W
Texas A&M - W

Realistic I think. 11-1 at best, 9-3 or 10-2 average, 8-4 is the floor.

Tenn, Ole Miss, and Ark are all horrible and it is not likely next year they will be good enough to beat us.

LSU hasn't lost 4 games in a row since 1999. I'd bet you are wrong

9-3 is my realistic expectation. 10-2 is damn strong and means we are in a New Years bowl.

Our offense is stacked and we don't lose much. Defense will have to reload - but in Aranda we trust!

It would be far and away O's best season. My guess is the "he learned something from failure" crowd would be very excited about it.

Well, 99% of the fools on here said LSU would be 11-1 or 12-2 this year so it's pointless to guess the final record
