Now I,must ask. Are you serious?

There would be no make up games after the season.

If some how there would be a hurricane hit the weekend of they would probably have a change of venue.

The game would be pointless after the seaon

After the A&M game? It's completely doable.

For some reason I thought the SECCG was 2 weeks after the last game. Oh well. It's going to be in South Cackalacky anyway.

We will get tons of rain over the next 2-3 days. We will be fine by that Saturday.

Considering that it's the only regular season LSU game we can attend, the kids and I would be crushed if they didn't play this game at Williams Brice (first time since 2009 I believe).

Here in Wilmington NC (much closer to the coast for those of you without maps), we know this storm will be gone by early week. Unless USCe doesn't have a tarp for their field or their sewer drains suddenly stop working properly (or lightning!), I'd say a 12:00 noon start next Saturday is pretty much a given.

I feel a little dumber for having read and now contributed to this thread. Geaux Tigers!

Katrina hit August 29. The game was scheduled for BR on September 10th. They moved the game to Arizona St. Ticket refunds were applied to the 2006 season, or you could donate the money back to LSU.

Columbia is in the middle of S Carolina. The bad boy will be long gone in 9 days. BayouBengal1024 my questions to you is simply: Are you taking medication? Are you a small child? Are you making a horrible troll? This game will be played in SC on 10-10-15 at 11 AM Central.

in 2001 they pushed the SECCG back one week to accommodate all the teams who missed games because of 9/11

This storm may impact college football we shall have to wait and see.

I doubt it effects us next Saturday, unless Columbia takes a direct hit, they should recover quick, and the models are pushing this thing more to the east instead of the west and landfall.

Katrina was a unique situation, that likely will never happen again. We didn't move the game because of residual effects of the storm, rather there was a triage next door to the stadium, and university and NCAA officials thought it be best to move the game out of state.

Did you even look at the projection? I know things can change but that shite is going to be 200 miles east of south carolina 7 days before the game is played.

If you suck at sarcasm that's cool, we all have our faults.

Idk how you took my statement, but I wasnt busting your balls man. I know you were being sarcastic to begin with...

I'm so confused right now.... Lets layout what we know.... The game vs SC is NEXT Saturday... The storm is either hitting, side swiping or missing the state of South Carolina THIS Saturday. With all of that said, WTF are you talking about and how in the frick did this make 2 pages...

They are just talking about contingency plans just in case the unlikely happens and they were to get a direct hit and still be recovering from the impacts a week later....sure its highly unlikely but its better to have a plan in the works just in case than to have planned nothing and be saying ok so now what the frick do we do.
