Looked like Dale Brown finish in regulation.

Wade usually has a well scripted play with 20 sec left. Wonder if a play was called and botched or if it was, in fact, a planned one on one with a jacked up shot.

Daddy Dale is the only coach in the country who could lose this game: LSU vs UGA in the PMAC, LSU ball under the UGA goal, one point lead, one second left in the game. LSU in bounds pass is a past half court. on purpose toss that goes out of bounds without touching a player. UGA ball under its own basket. UGA in bounds to Dominique Wilkens at the free throw line, catch & shoot, game winner. LSU player post game said he did not know the rule that the ball had to touch a player before the clock starts.

Wrong. Dominique Wilkins was in the NBA. I was at the game. The scenario is correct. One second LSU has the ball with a one point lead. John Williams heaves the ball down court thinking the clock would start when it hit the court. Oops! The ball was inbounded to Gerald Henderson I believe. He hit the shot, game over.

Yeah it wasn't perfect but in a helter skelter game like that some slack has to be given...
