How do you know that he is getting involved just because he has a headset on? He may have a small game day role or he may just want to know what the personnel thought process is during the games.

BK has over 3 decades of coaching experience. If Austin Thomas is on the sidelines, then he's serving some purpose to help the team. We looked better and more preparred game one, than we ever have since BK's been here. Whatever they're doing seems to be working. Ain't broke, don't fix it.

He has to attempt to keep players from entering the transfer portal before the snap because they don't like the play call.
