Would have been nice. Not going to make an excuse, but that field was less than hot garbage last year. Embarrassing.

Were you at the game? There was nothing fun about it.

Except for Les forgetting #10 was on the sideline I had a great trip

Yes, the weather was perfect today, the field was perfect and the opponent was perfect. I wish LSU were here. Unfortunately I think LSU fans may wish they were here too after next friday.

LSU should have been in Orlando today. Perfect day, perfect opponent.

I knew it would be. All the stupid pro-Cotton bowlers kept referring to how miserable the field and weather was last year. Both were a anamoly. It was completely opposite today. We would have gotten plenty of coverage today too. New Years is about College football, everyone is watching all the games and/or highlights. That won't be the case on fricking Jan. 7th, Friday night.

You butt hurt people need to let it go. Playing in the Cotton Bowl and missing out on the Cap One Bowl won't hurt LSU one bit. LSU has been in the spotlight on national TV many, many times in the past few years, and they will be again next year and into the foreseeable future. We're undoubtedly going to get a tougher game Friday than we would have gotten today, but even if we lose, it doesn't hurt the program in the long run.

That is certainly up for debate.
