I was in right field...that Home run was sick!!!!... When I started reading this thread, I thought for sure it would be the one most talked about. I dont think it has landed yet.

My vote is this one - over the lights in right field.

Hawthorne said that, and he was wrong. I was right there, way exagerated

Hawthorne never exaggerates when he's calling a game.

I saw this thread first then went a away for a while. Then I just clicked on the old box thread without noticing and it confused the frick out of me.

Eibner's was the longest I've seen.

Ryan Duffy from Miss St Hit a Monster shot over the lights in right field last year.

But we still crushed em 17-3 to clinch a spot in the SEC tourney.

that ball landed just over the fence. In fact I ended up getting both of his long balls that night.

Eibner's and Dean's. Eibner's was the only one I've said "holy shite" to, so i guess he is 1a.

Dean's barely made it to the fenced in HVAC area next to the indoor facility. Today that wouldn't have even cleared the RF bleachers.

Mahtook and Eibner's were both about the same.

I've missed maybe 5 home runs in the new box, none of which were notable.

I guess the Dean one seemed longer because of the height it had, but yes that mahtook one was an absolute bomb.

I'd have to say outside of the Box I'd have to say Mouton hitting the third deck facade in the dome was pretty awesome. I seem to remember Larson having a towering shot in there as well.

On top of that, it was cold out, and the wind was blowing in. I remember Hawthorne saying on pre-game that the balls would not fly that day
