Yeah, who would even consider 4 million, a top tier program, top of the line facilities and a recruiting base that recruits itself. Don't be a tool.

Yea the candidates were KNOCKING down the door when Miles was hired...........

Let see Muschamp just turned down 3 mil.......

way to go loser, continue to pay $3.75 million to a guy who is absolutely incompetent. Anyone who has any experience leading anything can see Miles has absolutely no leadership ability and is disorganized.

Fire Nick Saban??
Apparently some people have designs on seeing LSU Head Coach Nick Saban getting the boot. Someone registered www.firenicksaban.com. Either they don't like the direction LSU is heading, or they are a Bears/Falcons/NFL fan staking out their future claim. (Domain Lookup service available here.)

Would somebody tell me when Les Miles won a game against a team of equal or better talent due to his coaching?

ND '06, UF '07, OSU '07....to name a few.

If Miles is such a good coach, explain 8-8 in the SEC, worse against the top 25 and squeaking by against far inferior talent?

rookie QBs the last two years. Ask USC and OU.

I guess Saban wasnt a very good coach when he was at LSU then. And Pete Carrol must suck since he consistently loses to lesser talented teams.

Thats because USC is about to be put on probation and schoolys taken away.

Thats becasue he is a coach in waiting at a much better program already.

If Miles starts doing a much better job, he can stay as long as he likes. But when my 8 yr old has better clock mang skills than the head coach at LSU, I worry we arent gettng what we are paying for. When our coach makes us the laughig stock of the entire college football world, it bothers me. When I see our team have as much if not more talant than any team in the country, yet they have no disclipine or drive, It pisses me off. When I see our team being coached down intead of coached up, its a disservice to every kid on the team.

I dont want Miles fired. I want him to do his job and he isnt.

5 years ago we would have gotten a big name if skip wanted to open up the walllet. some of you don't understand that the big names won't come if the AD sets out to go cheap from the beginning. i'm not gonna argue with these miles supporters anymore. if they're content with the man after the last two years and his ability to not get rid of crowton then they'll never see the light.

Choctaw -

Do you have a job? I may go days without checking posts, but when I do, whether it be morning, noon or night, hot damn, there you are defending your boy Miles. I hope Leslie is giving you something for all your troubles.

Boy the events over the last few days have been instructive

The Les Miles LETS FIRE HIM folks. I see Mr Kiffein and he was the the 4th choice of USC.

We see today that TENN got denied by a 3 million a year contract by a asst Coach at Texas : and it appears the Coach of The Air Force Academy said no. MY GOD A COACH OF A SERVICE ACADEMY SAYING NO TO THE SEC

One thing that this has showed us. The Les Miles haters assure us that that we can get the best Coach to replace Miles. Yet in two major programs we have not seen that to be true.

But thats ok because the Les Miles haters will turn on the new Coach and because the nega tigers who do so many posts we will forget to call them on it.

Just wait my man. It is all gonna play out. The Miles worshippers can check back next year. Let's see what happens. We will see if Saban wins another SEC West Title or not. IMO there are a lot of coaches who could have coached this team the last 2 years and gone 1-8 against top 25 teams like Les did. I am confident next season will look like this season. What you are seeing now is what Les is. You have to decide if the fear you have to hire a coach worse than Miles is greater than your desire to hire a coach that can go better than 1-8 against top 25 teams.

Choctaw, that's just a damned lie and you know it. No way was ND in anywhere near the same league as LSU in talent that year. Ditto for OSU in '07. Florida '07 is the only one of those three that had equal talent, and we didn't beat them with coaching, but simply home field advantage and desire on the part of the OL and Hester. Plus a lucky-as-hell interception that bounced off a Florida OL's hat.

I am sometimes guilty of criticizing Coach Miles, and I think that he deserves his fair share of criticism. I do not see the relationship between anyone's criticism of Coach Miles and what is happening at Tennessee. Kiffen is obviously not someone that I would hire for any job; some of his recruits (and Bruce Pearl's for that matter) have given the university a bad image, and it will affect recruiting. I can understand Muschamp's turning down Tennessee given the negative press surrounding that program; UT (I am not a big fan) is a great job and would be hard to leave. I am also not sure why Tennessee would contact the head coach at Air Force; I do not see the the Air Force attack being successful in the SEC. Whether you like it or not, constructive criticism is good. For example, did you like this year's defense or last year's?

I say they were pretty close. Alot closer than the score represented anyways.

ofcourse we didn't.

blame Miles for everything...give him credit for nothing.

First of all, we would have fired our coach right at the end of the year when all the good coaches are still available.
