Guys like Hanigriff, Ott and Hunt Palmer have spent countless hours about the SEC’s preferential treatment towards other member institutions. Hours and hours of radio time talking about how the NCAA/SEC rules make no sense. Now they just want everyone involved, both directly and indirectly(LSU) in fighting the SEC to just waive the white flag.

What you have wanted for years is finally happening. I understand it’s football season now, but what is happening in court is a huge step in someday getting more straightforward rules for everyone.

If the radio guys want to give up now, then we should never hear another complaint about the SEC from them again.

It is times like this that expose people's leadership skills, or lack thereof. There are a lot of weak people on board. I dont want lsu to back down, I want them to countersue their arse. Unless there is something we dont knkw yet, lsu will wipe the floor with the sec. It is the principle now.

This was never about LSU. These players were seeking eligibility after being wronged by the NCAA. Sankey and the SEC just took a drastic shot at LSU publicly suing them. I don’t see any scenario where LSU backs down now. SEC has made it clear they are out for LSU.

This is what I really want out of all this mess. I’ve seen a lot of people say these few players aren’t worth all this trouble as some kind of indication we should give up. While these players may or may not be worth it, getting some clear cut rules for everyone to follow is. An ounce now to save a pound later or however that saying goes

One, I think I’ve spent hours talking about preferential treatment. But that’s not the point.

Today, I also said the commissioner was acting completely irrationally and disingenuously.

Some things are worth fighting for. I don’t find these players to be from LSU’s perspective. Fully support the players fighting, though.

Sometimes it’s ok to follow the rules of the league. I’d do it here if I’m LSU.

Ultimately, this is a failure by the ncaa to properly grandfather these players in.

I would walk away if I were LSU, but that is far from the only thing I said.

I have learned people hear what they want. That won’t change.

That would actually make me indifferent over LSU if they cowered down. Lsu is in the right and needs to act swiftly with a counter suit
