Not requesting for a ticket. But i typically purchase a single game RV pass every year wirh friends and family. Called ticket office last week, they said it woud be available 8/10 at 10am, now today I'm told its after folks who got relocated from TD Village get first dibs then us which non will be available so check out Seatgeek for when people start selling their passes. I thought folks from TD Village got relocated to Lot 408/409. Can someone confirm this?

I actually went to the tickets office in July because I received a letter from LSU athletic dept. saying I wasn’t eligible for lot 413 season pass in which I’ve done for years. They explained to me that they were giving the Touchdown village Rv first dibs like you said. I know last year they moved to the baseball parking lot. TV. Parking is paved and those rivers I guess prefer that style. Anyway LSU did offer availability to #413 starting last week with limited availability. I hope this might explain the situation

Appreciate it. Sucks that LSU had to get very low key about this, not that they owe me anything since I'm not a wealthy donor. I'll just have to see what becomes available for us peasants.

Not to sidetrack this thread but...
I'm wanting to rent an RV and get a RV parking pass for a game and see how it goes before I commit to buying one.
What are the best spots to park an RV where I can easily attain a ticket? (dont mind spending $$$ on seatgeek or wherever f necessary)

I can't really answer your question per se. When I order my season tickets I add my name to a list for requesting RV passes. Normally I get an email with a date/time to go pick a spot. I usually pick Lot 412. I think the RVs were moved to 413 this year. I received an email that said that I did not have enough philanthropic points to qualify for a pass this year but would be notified if individual passes were available later. I secured a spot at Farr Park. I understand that some people tailgate over there and they have a shuttle to the stadium.
I did receive an email about a week ago that said I was eligible to buy individual passes in 413. I looked out of curiosity. The pass for the Alabama game is $500.
You may want to try Farr Park or Tiger Trails. I think they both have a shuttle to the game.
I heard that everyone was being moved around because of the construction that is going on. It will probably be the same next year as well.

Yes you are correct about moving TV RV parking to #413. It’s a shame what LSU is charging for that lot on individual games. The nickel and diming the “Joe six pack” per se’ is getting out of hand so they can continuously pay these astronomical salaries and these kids. This is the world we live in. But I didn't realize there was a shuttle from the to places you mentioned. Thanks for the info

I had Been calling for several weeks and they kept telling lot 413 would go on sale today. Called today and got the same explanation you did. I would have submitted for a reserve spot if I had known it wouldn’t be option. We just prefer this lot over the others because you can come in early. They told me today to watch my email that if there are any left they will become available. I have been checking the website for weeks and I never saw any single games become available. I’m so irritated about this. If they had Been transparent I could have made other arrangements.

LSU knew this was going to be a mess and wasn't planning for it to be transparent. Especially working around a construction schedule.
I'm afraid we'll never get single game first come first serve anymore unfortunately, this was their opportunity to snarch it up and make it another wealthy donor rub and tug idea so some executive gets his bonus money.
Just means someone else will benefit from our business. Hell I'd consider meeting yearly for the baseball team instead.

You are so right. I’m just so irritated this happened. This is the year I have 2 of my 3 kids at LSU and was really looking forward to the football season.

Website just updated.

Minus Sign
LSU Athletics is currently offering members of the Motorhome request list an opportunity to purchase single game passes for Lot 413.
This is offer is being conducted by LSU Philanthropic Ranking.
If any passes remain after working through this list, an offer will then be made to the public. It is unlikely passes for high demand games will be available.

Here is another perspective to view the parking situation. I have been parking in TD2 since before it was paved. Back in the Curley Hallman days. Used to be a gully running right through the middle of the parking lot. Anyone remember that? We've made friends with fellow tailgaters, Started parking together, even if it wasn't in our specified spots because the lot was usually never full, there was a lot of moving around. TD2 was sold out every season but not all showed up. We had a group of 8 or 9 rvs that stuck together. We went to away games, weddings and funerals. We celebrated anniversaries, holidays, birthdays and births. We are a family.
We were eventually displaced when construction started. We begged the ticket office to keep us together but that didn't happen. One of us is in 408 and the rest are in 413. At least we got parking places.

It’s a supply issue due to new construction. If you compare the map from last year to the one from this year, you’ll notice that the back 25-30% of lot 413(which was 412 in previous years) is now taken up by the new Ride Share location. I don’t know how many spots that knocked out but combined with what they did last year with TDV2, there are significantly fewer spots available. I also think part of the issue is that 408 looks like it would absolutely suck as an RV lot because it is nowhere close to level. It wouldn’t surprise me if a lot or people displaced from TDV2 to 408 last year wanted to move to 413.

These were the options to those displaced from TDV2:
Limited spaces in Touchdown Village 1
Lot 408
Lot 409
Lot 413

I figured that would be the case and its reasonable. I agree with being able to recocate displaced TV folks first, no a big fan of highest donor getting access first afterwards though.
What you all had together i wanted for my son who was just born this year and my family. So far we RV tailgate 2 years straight and looking forward to this. Now I'm thinking I'll have to compete with my wallet to even sniff a RV Spot and that sucks. If that becomes the case we'll just do baseball or stay at Tiger Trails.

They absolutely did….i have been on 408 for damn near 20 years and moved out going forward because motor homes fricked the tailgating all up.
