I figured he would measure a little bit smaller than that for some reason but that’s perfect size for a center. I guess he always looked smaller playing next to guys like Deculus, D-Lew and Magee. Check out a pic of Deculus standing next to Saahdiq. He makes him look like a TE. I’ll be very surprised if Saahdiq measures more than 6’3” 290.

Stephen Sullivan 6’5” 245 10 3/8” hands

His point of attack block is his biggest weakness....prototypical center who struggles against bullrushers

Definitely a decent shot that he's the first center taken off the board.

Blake Ferguson 6’2” 227

No way he’s a 1st rounder. Probably late 2nd to early 4th.

6’3” 290 for Charles is about right
But man I was watching his clean video (weightlifting)the other day, and that boy is explosive & flexible. So much so I think teams will over look the off the field stuff.
Powerful, great hands, can really get out and move if needed. Potential move to guard more than likely. Really would be a perfect center but that may have passed him

I love Cush but he isn't going in the 1st. Late 2nd at best more like a 3rd rd pick. Probably going to be an OG in the NFL. He will be a starter in the NFL for many years barring injury.

The dude is 6’3” and has a 6’11” wingspan
That is just insane, freak of nature stuff.
But I agree his anchor needs to improve.

He’s a bull in the weight room. You can tell he played soccer in high school because he’s so light on his feet. Plenty of athleticism to play tackle in the NFL but nowhere near long enough. His future is inside at guard for a team that values quick feet and the ability to pull and kick out on run plays. The Saints love to do this with their guards I wouldn’t mind it at all if they took Saahdiq with a 5th rounder. He could be Peat’s replacement at LG.

Charles great first move (and he missed a few times, so live by the sword, die by the sword and all that), helped him make up for not having prototypical tackle size, particularly height and arm length.
He also developed fairly good hand and foot technique.

C'mon! I love Lloyd but that ain't happening.

Charles had a great postseason. Teams aren't going to care about his off the field issues enough. He probably moved himself above a 5th rounder.

I've worked out next to Charles and Phillips before, and I would guess Charles is around 6-3. He is so wide that his height may look a little distorted, but he certainly looked closer to 6-3 than 6-4 to me.
I could see Cush going in 2nd or 3rd round. Charles will be a guard in the NFL.

Best center in the draft has no chance of going in the first round?
Posted on 1/21/20 at 2:20 pm to Lester Earl
I have no idea when he will be drafted but I hope it is in first couple of rounds He help provide the best protection for any LSU QB has had in a really long time.
His dad's hat says it all, "it all starts with the snap".
