Little mistakes(and sometimes big ones too) kill this team

We consistently make little mistakes that cost a run here, and a run there that cause us to often lose close ball games.
EX: Dickinson trying too hard to distract 2B on ground ball and gets hit on his back leg> GEEZ! Gotta be more aware than that.
Two base running mistakes on Thursday cost the game. Curiel had a brain fart by not sliding and I'm not sure how the 1st out was made at 3B? GEEZ!
Too many walks by the bullpen.
Batters foul off 1ST pitch and then watch a perfect 2ND strike called. Limits the options and often leads to outs.
Too many routine DP balls hit with RISP when a decent fly ball would move or score a runner.
Love the team. Love Jay. But we have more talent than most teams we have played and have struggled at times.
I believe that Jay and staff coach the little things but I really have no evidence of that other than a few trips to practice early in the season. No real inside info to base that on.
Got to start hitting on all cylinders if we are going to get to and challenge for the title in Omaha! Geaux Tigers.
Not whining so dont go there but time for big time players to stop making mistakes that are often avoidable.

Kills em. Thats why they are having such a terrible year with no shot at a post season run.

You are right. But you know what? That’s baseball.

I think they lose tonight. They are through scoring and will lose again in the bottom of the 9th. SC might sweep them.

I think we will pull out the next 2 wins. We do have the SEC tournament to work out playing on the road. I hope that helps some in our preparation if we get to Omaha. We are good enough. There are no dominant teams in college baseball this year.

Actually hard to build a rapport with this team, they play as individuals

Well guess what, Hoover and Omaha are on the road, and if we don't do any better, we may be on the road in a Super.
