Why would any company that’s not owned/controlled by an LSU fan participate in NIL?
There is virtually zero return on investment. Outside of a generational talent like Joe Burrow, what college kid would you want sponsoring your company?
It’s basically setting money on fire for your fandom. Which is ok, but few legit businesses will participate.

Why not just funnel TAF funds through a paper company?
Just slapping LLC on an entity does not make it bulletproof like some of you think.

Ochsners is too cheap and self focused to be a part of that. They are horrible.

This and when said player does something stupid - it reflects on your company - NO THANKS

Ballard Brands. Conflict of interest?

Why not just funnel TAF funds through a paper company? Or, why not just have TAF sponser players?
Because this is illegal.
It would be better for TAF to tell its donors to not donate as much and save some to pay NIL deals to the players.

I don't know if Exxon wants the publicity. Maybe if they think it will be a good way to gain local PR. They don't really need marketing though

Yep, shocked they’re not more involved. Many don’t know this international $2B revenue company is headquartered here.

They’re an interesting one. Highly valued but don’t cash flow very well

Why would they? What would be their motivation?
