How could anyone think he deserves jail time for this?
He didn't jump on the guy and start beating his face in. Something else I've seen at Bogies - again with no arrest.

I'm about to frick y'all up with some truth.
To those of you defending Hill and blowing this off:
Minor offense? Sure...but this kind of thing will continue to happen because society refuses to stand up and pin some responsibility on these kids that frick up. Jail is not a joke...and what you're saying by minimizing stuff like this is that it's ok...he's just a kid and kids are stupid. How far back are you going to push the age of when kids should actually take responsibility of their own lives and hone their actions?
To those of you who say "I'm done...kick him off.":
You probably share my sentiments above, but be real. You're not going to stop supporting LSU over this. You will cheer and high five eachother with every first down Hill picks up. You can't hammer Les for how he's handling things. He has a policy, and he sticks to it. (Evident by Perilloux, JJ, TM7, etc). He's a guy who keeps his promises to the parents when he recruits their sons...he promises to be a father figure while they're on his team. The problem is that a "father figure" should also instill discipline in these guys. That is totally fixable.
If you find yourself in the middle of these two ends of the spectrum...
That's normal...you're a productive member of society AND an LSU fan.

You agree Hill should be in prison?
I am not sold on the prison thing but he did break the terms of his probation and it would be completely justified if he were. I feel he should be booted from the team at minimum. There is more to life than football and he doesn't seem to grasp that based off of his bad decision making record. The university could still let him go to school and hopefully graduate and turn his life around. Just one guys opinion though I am sure most will disagree with me.

Great post. I would rather Hill be able to play but if he doesn't the next guy will step up. What he did was fricked up but its not up to me what his punishment should be.

Fair enough. You have to agree saying he should be in PRISON is absurd.

Wow. I hope that Hill has a great carreer, however I hope it's not with LSU.

i can't say if its fricked up or not yet, we dont have any video from earlier in the night. Now if hill just punched a random dude for no reason at all then yea its fricked up on his part. However, if said dude had done shite earlier that night then his head should have been on a swivel and he should have made a faster get away.
eta unless the dude and his buddy filming are fans of another team.

Where do you people come from?

The fricked up part is that he snuck him, regardless of what happened earlier in the night.

It was a borderline sneak.

i dont consider it a true sneak unless the dude was completely random. if he had already had words with hill then he should have been on the look out. its his own fault for starting shite he couldn't finish if words were exchanged earlier.

I would rather not debate the definition of a sneak

Right, and he kinda turned so he could get a good jaw shot
Posted on 7/12/13 at 12:07 pm to harry coleman beast
I think the big dude needs a rematch when he is sober. That should fix this

I just find it amazing that people are shocked and surprised when football players get involved in fights.
They are pretty much coached to hit people as soon as they are able to walk. These are violent people, encouraged to be violent... except in certain situations.
And their judgement gets impaired from drugs and/or booze and we are shocked when a fight erupts?
Bottom line here... we have a bunch of young, violent drunk people fighting in a parking lot. Something to ruin careers over? Something to do jail time for? Not in my book. They want to fight, let them fight. Big fricking deal.

quote:You are a moron. If you apply this same standard to every other LSU football player that's come through Baton Rouge (and dare I say it, many of them white guys), who ever got into a bar fight while drunk, we would have suspended and put in prison many football players over the years.
What a joke.
Dude should be in prison.
If he gets reinstated I will no longer support LSU football...or LSU athletics for that matter.
I know I am 1 person so it's no big deal, but after this video coming out to the public, LSU should want no part of this guy
