This is not true. Historically good teams have always come to Tiger Stadium. The list includes, Notre Dame, USC, Florida State, Ohio State, West Virginia, Arizona State (game moved due to Katrina), Texas A&M (prior to being in the conference). Those are just the big name teams I can name off the top of my head that have visited Tiger Stadium IN MY LIFETIME (Born in 85). That doesn't include the mid-level, Washingtons and Arizonas that have visited here as well. Hell Oregon State came here and didn't ask for a return trip.

This is 2017. The playoff(and BCS before it) and tv monies have changed college football. Florida State coming to Baton Rouge in 1992 could not be more irrelevant.

This neutral site game crap started when Joe Alleva arrived on campus. We all know he is lazy as frick and we know that ESPN does all of the work to organize these neutral site games. It doesn't take a genius to put two and two together.

Let me ask you 3 questions: what school has far and away separated themselves as the class and standard of college football the last 10 years? Do they regularly play neutral site games? Do you think it's more intelligent to do things differently than them or close to the same?

ETA: You think if we picked up the phone and called Michigan and asked for a home and home that they would say no? You are fricking kidding yourself if you think they would turn that down.

Michigan is playing the University of Florida to open the season. In Arlington, Texas.

You say, "no one wants to come to Tiger Stadium" then I prove that to be an absolutely incorrect statement. So what do you do in response? You move the goalposts to "we do it because Alabama does it." Terrible dodge and deflect buddy.

Did Florida offer a home and home? Or did ESPN set up the game like they always do with these neutral site games? Better yet.... you think Harbaugh who has tried every thing he could to recruit the south would turn down a chance to play a game in Louisiana. Come on man, you can't be that dense.

We currently have home and home scheduled with Texas, UCLA and ASU.

It's doable. Teams will come to Tiger Stadium. Just hope they don't pull a Wisconsin with those games.
