My cousin in law (wife’s first cousin) is a handicapper who does a YouTube show out of Vegas says a lot.

He’s from Chicago so he’s started calling me to ask about LSU.

He said after ole miss and arky the public is high on the Tigers.

He is a handicapper and called to ask you about LSU?

The public was steady all week at +2.5 after opening at +3. Suddenly today it dropped and is currently +1 on DraftKings. That wasn't a public movement that quickly.

Yes. I didn’t say he worked at Ceasers. He has a YouTube channel and lives in Vegas.

I’m 45 and he’s, I believe, 27. He knows I’m a big college football fan and sometimes asks what I think about LSU. That’s all I meant.

His name is Griffin Murphy. I have no clue if he’s considered good cause I don’t bet on sports cause I know I’d lose.

I saw this thread and responded that’s all. I told him I thought LSU would beat OM by 3 and was lucky. Then last week I thought LSU would win by 10 against Arky. I told him today I’m a fan with purple and gold glasses that says more of what I hope happens. Doesn’t mean shite. Hahahaha

Down to LSU +1 on DraftKings. Gotta think we'll be favored come Saturday.

Professional handicapper calling a middle aged LSU fan for advice. Yeah okay…

I get it. I meant to answer the original question that he said the public was high on LSU big time so the line moved.

I didn’t mean to make it sound like he needed and was using any advice. He’s my buddy and a family member that asked how I felt about my favorite team.

My bad baw.

I just walked through the sports book at MGM and it was LSU+ 1.5. They also had Navy +13.5 against ND which seems like a steal.

Wagering is in a larger context and not about a single game ... their job is to keep the bottom line in their favor...don't let the books fool you with single game lines

When it comes to early lines, that's somewhat true. But once odds are set, they only move based on new information about that game (new injury, bet volume, etc.). None of that is a trick or a secret to anyone.
