horseshite. Its impossible to distinguish between the two, and many are booing JJ.

I disagree. About 20% of the boos are debatable during Les's greating QB rotating saga in the 4th quarter (whether it was JJ or CLM which different people were booing different ones), but unless you know nothing about football it's pretty obvious the coaches are being booed when the boos start everytime we run an option and the play hasnt ended yet.

How about Joe stops worrying about the paying customers, and starts worrying about his employees

For those of you who want your boos to send a message to Alleva, what exactly is the "message"?

(1) Fire Miles now?

(2) Fire Crowton now?

(3) Force Miles to play Lee?

(4) Force Miles to play Peterson in the Wildcat formation?

I think Alleva knows that fans are unhappy with the offense, but what exactly do you want him to do?

Looks to me that the booing make be actually doing its job. Might not help for that particular game, but if it is already getting to the AD then imagine the possible effects down the road if Miles stubborn ways don't work (which it won't).

GO BOOers!!! Show them the power of the fans!

it does absolutely nothing positive.

It helped hasten the departure of Mike Archer, Curley Hallman and Gerry DiNardo. Will also serve its purpose towards the end of this season IF NEED BE......

I will boo every time we run the option with our slow arse quarterback and if Alleva doesn't like it he can give me my money back

what any good manager does, manage his employees- he has no more control over the FB coaches than any of us do

Although the responses to his request on the site were poorly written, their sentiments were dead on: if you don't give the fans a forum where they can actually voice their opinions (i.e., a forum that doesn't actively suppress all the people who have tough questions [think: TJ Ribs on Wednesdays]), they will find a way to voice them somewhere else (i.e., tiger stadium). Unless, of course, changes are made.

The irony here is that the fans' booing might actually force his hand. He has two options: watch Miles and Co. continue to flounder and watch the fans continue to boo (which, in turn, will tarnish the reputation of the program, further exacerbating the problem), or he can make a change (by either pulling a Jerry Jones and pressuring Miles to make some personnel/player shifts or by simply firing Miles/Crowton) and hope the booing stops. Since he is not an idiot (fingers crossed) and is obviously aware of the financial depression option 1 would create, he will invariably pick option 2.

Booing wins.

This is the least of our recruiting worries. Losing and shitty offenses drive players away way before fans do.

How do people like yourself not realize the role we play regarding the direction of our program? You think top recruits want to come to a university when the fanbase won't even cheer for the team because the idea that our coach actually wins is so distasteful to some that they would rather cut off their nose despite their face.

I think we have a fanbase of ten year olds.
