Very good Qb but what really jumps out at me is the holding I see the O-line doing.Pay close attention to that. Not pissing and moaning by any means just stating what I saw in that video. frick Bama

I'm going to consider the advice of "Iron" Mike!

The key will be to combine the crowd noise, pressure on him and great coverage. It doesn't matter who the QB is, when he has these three combinations, he will be affected and can break his rhythm.

We've done it to many of great college QBs and we have the ability to do it again. Of course he will make plays bc that's what they great ones do and there's no doubt he's a great talent. His arm strength, composure and accuracy combo is some of the best I've seen in some time. He's also able to move in the pocket or outside of it. IMO we must keep him in the pocket and mix up pressure and holding gap assignment.

But then you also have their great run game to deal with. We will have to play sound defense and not be overly aggressive against him. The DBs will have to play together all game. They can't break off the medium or deep routes for the short throws. Let the guys in the middle handle those guys. Mix in some man and zone coverages with man and zone blitz.

I think our DL should play with him a bit. Set traps for him, work together and let your partner get the sack instead of going for it themselves. Break all tendency so they don't recognize anything we doing.

I have an idea.....let them fricking play the game. Half of the rant had LSU 3-5 vs Bama 8-0. So my point being LSU has surpised many people on TD. This team will continue to surprise....sit back watch and enjoy the rest of the fricking season.

Aranda will have to do a lot of different schemes and blitzes that tua hasn't seen before to get him off balance. he cant scramble because of his knee issues so we have to put extreme pressure on him and sack him. 1 sack will shake him up! look at his eyes when pressure comes his way. he panics.

He's awesome.

I don't think that many people are saying it's because of wide open players.

Typically with Bama it is wide open players, like Hurts.. he is awful outside of wide open players.

Tua makes great throws regardless.

However, he hasn't played a good D all season.. and even in the championship game when he lead them back against Georgia, he did throw an interception.. and he had some throws that should have been picked off lately. We need to capitalize off these opportunities.

I don't think anyone here are actually doubting his talent, it's just that I for one as are many others are curious to see how he fares against a secondary with at least three future millionaires.
