Best coaching
BK did a great job of having the team prepared, but the sequence before half was the opposite of great coaching. It could have cost LSU in a other season opener, but fortunately, it didn't.
He needs to clean up the time management and decision-making there. Otherwise, he is preaching the 1-0 mentality for each week, so he seems to have a great approach there.

Beware of irrational exuberance…..only 1 game….need to see more…..a whole lot more

This dude wants LSU to lose a game. He is a closet Aggy fan. He isn't an LSU fan. He comes here to troll.
This from someone calls himself TXTiger. Not that I feel obligated to explain my LSU loyalty but I will just to embarrass you. Born and raised in New Iberia. My older brother Eddie was offered a scholarship to LSU in 1956, turned it down and tried out with the Baltimore Orioles as pitcher twice. He then joined the Army. Family moved to NOLA when I was 12. Played football at Beauregard Junior High and Warren Easton High. Suffered a gunshot wound to my left knee the summer before my senior year which killed my senior year of football. Thpught I might has gotten a scholarship had I played my senior year. I joined the Air Force in 1964. My knee healed very well I stayed in shape with the thought of walking on at LSU in 1968 after 4 years in the AF. Went to LSU in hopes they would take me as a walk on, they had no room. Then I decided to try USL. Coach Fulkinberry allowed me to walk on. Was there for 2 spring drills and 2 fall drills. Suffered a bruised kidney and severe shin splints so decided to give up football. BESIDES MY HEART AND LOYALTY WAS AND IS ALWAYS TO LSU AS MY WHOLE FAMILY WAS AND IS.
After dropping football I befriended Don Long of the Dandy Don football site. We would go to high school football games to look at potential college recruits for LSU and then let Sam Nader know our opinion of the players. This was a voluntary service we had no affiliation with LSU. Don and I were part of the reason LSU took Dalton Hilliard. We implored Sam to take Dalton despite his size and being at a class AA high school. Sam passed on our thoughts to Jerry Stovall although Sam wasn't on board. Jerry Stovall overrode Sam and took him in spite of having Gary James, Karl Benard and Gene Lang committed.
Now tell me all about your loyalty to LSU Texas Tiger.
PS: Forgot to mention after my USL days I became friends with Paul and Pat Lyons who both played QB's at LSU. I would meet them at the Lafayette High School practice field and run routes for them to get get ready for fall practice, I was
a walk on WR at USL BTW. Sometimes Mac Barousse and Billy Rickman would also join us, both played college ball with Billy playing pro ball for the Falcons. Lastly Rex Henderson would also work out with us, he singed to play QB at LSU in 1975.
Now your turn big mouth.

I agree. BK should have kicked the field goal. The excassive timeouts in my opinion were due to this being our first game on a national stage, things happen in games like tgat. I expect this will be cleaned up.

Without a novel, I graduated from LSU and live in Texas.
What’s so difficult to comprehend?
Dumb arse!

Great win! Best coaching and gameplan yesterday along with the best use of the portal by the staff. BK, Blake, and Sloan were great. HOWEVER, no way we are going undefeated nor will any other team in the SEC. We are past the O dumpster fire finally but other than Miss St, Vandy and Kentucky the rest are capable of beating us.
LSU fans know what a title contender should look like
this team is fast, physical and well coached
5th QB- we're in for a fun ride this year
we are now officially in the "we expected to beat" teams rather than hope to beat these teams
a lot changed Satursday night, we have a very capable team...we didn't know this information until we got to see if for the first time
Wait until we play teams that have weaker corners, LSU is going to be laying 40 on these teams

You started the insults by ignorantly accusing me of being a closet A&M fan and wanting LSU to lose . My "novel" as you say was to expose your ignorance and you as being a loud mouth buffoon as you suggested I was. You showed your dumb arse and got called out. As far as "comprehending" I actually did understand just chose to use it it as a dig.

Can't argue with your thoughts at all. Where we disagree maybe is we have some tough talented teams ahead. Not going to count my chickens before they hatch.

That loss came down to a poor D-Line and 2 bum arse safeties who made business decisions all game long.
Our defense is different now.
