Not sure what you're driving at. Is your wife far more intelligent and even-keeled than you are?

LSU will probably be given some sort of break for the early season losses when we didn't have Hornsby & Victor. The other thing is that the NCAA wants Simmons in the tourney. We have compelling leverage THIS year which we haven't had in previous years.

If it's close come selection time, we get in because of Simmons factor.

No. Unlike me, she's a bit of a reactionary. Sheriff of Malibu type.

I'm just now watching the 2nd half of the game, I wasn't home tonight. Does Simmons really go the final 18:15 of the game without a point? He has 21 points at the 18:15 mark of the 2nd half.

He just doesn't get many shots. I don't think he takes but a couple of more shots the rest of the game.

Maybe because he was so dominant in the first half; it really didn't matter.

He wasnt quite as aggressive down the stretch and Aubie was doing a better job of packing the paint. Still a good effort. He doesnt go all world in the first half, we dont have that big lead.

I think after reaching 21 points at the 18:15 mark, Simmons took one more shot the rest of the game. Meanwhile, many guys like Epps (even though he hit a couple of jumpers) were forcing up shots trying to get their points.

Definitely not what you want. But I'll choose to see the positive in that he all but disappeared in the 2nd half (in terms of scoring) and we still won by 12. My initial impression was that they really made a concerted effort to shut him down in the 2nd half and did a good job. Obviously he's shown the ability to assert himself and create his shot even when it doesn't look to be there, so it's not as simple as Auburn clamping down. He did have 5 assists in the 2nd half, though.

Yea he did a great job facilitating in the early parts of the second half. He was really good with epps. He had 2 great passes to him. He probably could have had a triple double if victor didnt get the case of Odo hands tonight.

The 1 or 2 seed who gets LSU in the 3rd round of the NCAA tourney is very unlucky.

He had a few good assists, sat for a bit while we had a big lead. I do believe that other guys saw the lead and got selfish and tried to get their points.

On another note, we need a new fail-proof defense. When the other team has the ball, just lean over and stick your nose into his elbow and the refs will call an offensive foul, maybe even a flagrant foul.

Stupid refs have no common sense.

That call was ridiculous, when you are in a players shorts what do you expect to happen. I get its the right call by rule but the rule is dumb. Call the reach in and avoid the elbow all together. Ben even asked the ref should i play with the ball behind my back

This "team is YOUNG" fallacy.

LSU is 328th nationally in experience with 1.13 years of experience per players, weighted for minutes played.
