I am an LSU fan from 1962. Living in Birmingham retired driving a school bus for fun. Drove Bo and Pat Nix to athletic events including high school football games many times. With LSU’s defense this year Bo would score on LSU every time Oregon got the ball. In Oregon’s first touchdown tonight did you see how Bo looked off the defense? Daniels cannot do that.

I suggested he go to LSU because Auburn was somewhat discombobulated. But wanted to follow his dad. However, he did beat LSU the two times he played them. Someone here in Birmingham said yeah Bo has good numbers but not in the SEC. I say other than Alabama and Georgia what SEC teams are better than an average college team? None. Sorry to say that for I though LSU would be ready but they were not.

Oregon's offense makes Nix look better than he is. They have a strong run game and a little dink and dunk pass game, that's why his completion percentage is so good.

Yes Daniel’s is good at a threat to run but a long way from a pure passer. Nix can make the throw before the receiver makes his break a lot of times. Daniels can’t do that. Running qb’s don’t last long in the NFL. RGIII, Vick, Cam Newton just to name a few.

Nix is averaging 8 yards per pass so far. 8-9 and 68 yards.
