We had that opportunity and we passed.
I said it 2 years ago, we should have completely cleaned house. From the head coach to the janitor.
We decided to hire from within, keep a lot of the same staff, and label as some continuity bullshite.

Completely agree. Would love to see some of these people in real life. Do your emotions and reactions change this wildly in a weeks time?
A week ago we are included in playoff rankings, had just built one of the best resumes in college football, recruiting is trending up so fast, and then we lose and we react with CLEAN HOUSE!!! I think people forget how to react somewhat intelligently or see any sort of big picture. So embarrassed with the bullshite I see following a loss.

Some of our fans are irrational. Some of you are giving up and we still have a lot to play for. We can make a ny6 bowl and that's nothing to be ashamed of. We got beat last night, I get it. This shite is crazy though.

There is a culture here that plays scared on offense. We do not teach the qb to go win a game we teach not to lose. That type of coaching will never win a championship. In todays game you have to have a good passing offense, hell even Saban learned this. Bama is going to go on a historic run that has never been seen before. They have a qb that can sling it and more on the way.

LSU wins out Ed O will win coach of the year IMO. LSU has proven every expert and half of this board wrong this year. This is the best Alabama team in Saban’s history. You guys have gone off the rails a little. We need an OC and some depth in the trenches.

This isn’t about Alabama. Last night just maginified the issues that have been just below the surface.
The offense is no better than it was when O was hired. If he doesn’t fall arse backwards into Meyer’s QB due to multiple Signing Day blunders this team is a disaster right now. We would be 5-4 at absolute best.
There is a very real chance that O will hire his fourth OC in 3.5 years this offseason, and if he doesn’t, that means we’re sticking with the guy that hasn’t scored a point against Alabama in eight quarters and didn’t even want th job to begin with.
All offseason all we heard was how O fixed the trenches!! Well, can we revisit that line of thinking now? The OL has struggled on and off throughout the year and was abused Saturday worse than anything we’ve seen since 1/9.
If Rashard and/or Fehoko go pro the DL next year is going to be the worst we’ve had since the 90s.

What does he do? He is completely worthless on Gameday and likely a negative during prep week as he probably disrupts the routine of the actual coaches that are doing his job for him but have to waste time explaining things to him so he can feel like the man in charge when everyone knows he is a cheerleader that only got the job because the AD is dumber than he is and hated the old guy bad enough to run him off without even bothering to do a search in case the two guys he really wanted didn’t work out.
Once Aranda is gone the true state of affairs will be clear to all of you that are too blind see or are just in willful denial about because you hated the old guy too and are just happy he’s gone.
Better get that win over Jimbo and his unranked Aggies or O will finish without 10 wins again and miss the NY6 Bowl for the third year in a row. If he doesn’t get it before Burrow and Aranda leave he never will and deep down everyone knows it, especially O himself.
Comical that all of you that claim there was SO much rebuilding to be done to fix the mess that Miles supposedly left behind and yet fully support basically his same exact staff doing the job that they were a part of tearing down
